"Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker."
-Psalm 94:12 (HCSB).
Worship is a time of lifting our praises to God, as well as a time of interaction with God's word, exhortation, and growth. Worship is a lifestyle, not just a style of music.
Our congregation can be described as participatory. We don't show up on Sunday mornings as "the audience," but rather as a family, worshiping corporately, connecting with and supporting each other, and seeking discernment together from God's Word and the morning message.
Wherever you're from or whatever you can do can be used for the good of God's people. Some of our members are gifted in food preparation, some in music, and some in art and technology, and those skills opened them up to new opportunities for service, not just as part of our congregation, but well beyond our doors in God's name. So if you come to Westhunt looking for a place to get involved, we're sure you will find it.
If you're hurting, know someone who is, or are seeking prayer for any reason, our pastor or one of our deacons will be available to meet with you and pray with you.
If you're looking for a diverse worship with a healthy blend of traditional and contemporary themes, and a church congregation that will be quick to make you feel like family, we hope you will Come home to Westhunt!
